As a Videographer at GT Church, you will create works that inspire people to grow in their personal relationship with Jesus. You will serve to create and implement dynamic and creative digital media content for various ministries, worship services and online platforms. This role is responsible for visual storytelling through video from pre- to post- production and will play a vital role in the digital media presence of GT Church. This position serves on the Production Team under the leadership of the Production Director.
- Create digital media content to engage for use on the church website, social media and other digital platforms, worship services, and various ministries
- Produce high quality and engaging video highlighting and telling stories of life change and ministry
- Produce video ads for church events
- Capture spontaneous video at services and events
- Assist in script writing on various video projects
- Direct and lead a crew for video shoots
- Execute post production processes to ensure all work is delivered on time and fits within the vision of various projects
- Collaborate with the Creative Team to plan and brainstorm ways to support sermon series and upcoming events
- Provide central support by collaborating and providing kids, students, missions, discipleship, and multi-site locations with video production requests
- This position will also be tasked with assisting with live production during Sunday services and special events as needed. General tasks in the production or creative department may also be assigned based on ministry demand. Experience in live production is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided if needed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant work experience OR Film / Multimedia Degree
- Film portfolio available online
- Extensive understanding of the film-making process
- Extensive knowledge of multi-camera editing
- Video editing proficiency with Adobe Premiere
- Video and photographic design skills that tell a visually compelling story
- Able to leverage appropriate video platforms to use in telling our story
- Effectively communicate and relate across generational age groups
- Positive, teachable spirit
- Solid work ethic and ability to self-motivate, effectively prioritize, and multi-task
- Experience with After Effects and DaVinci Resolve is a plus but not required
- Experience in graphic design (Photoshop & Illustrator) or photography is a plus
- Availability for Sunday to Thursday work week
- Flexibility for weeknights/weekends for special services/events based on ministry demand
